Hi Nancy,

this site is a live demo of this plugin.

In my home page’s sidebar the ‘About the author’ and ‘Current reading’ sections are displayed using IIP:

Hi Vito, and thank you very much for the plugin, it’s working great. I have a request for some information if possible on how to alter the code in your plugin to take advantage of Peter Westwoods page excerpt function. I would like to call the excerpt that his plugin allows me to create for the page instead of calling the text before the more function. The goal I am trying to achieve is to show the page excerpt in a div on my homepage as a teaser, but, have this teaser text not show when the continue link is clicked and full page content is displayed. I’m decent with coding, but, don’t know exactly how to replace your calls to the more function with calls to the excerpt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Caro Vito:
I have been using your wonderful (and useful) Iinclude_page plugin for quite a time now. I has always suited my needs flawlessly, but now I am facing the need of having a page displayed (included) in four different blogs (in four different WP installations) being the source one single page which sits on one of those blogs. The first solution that occurred to me was to hardcode the link (an url instead of the page number in the chunk of code ” iinclude_page(13);”
But I see no obvious posibility on doing that: Is there any tweak that I could do to the plugin to achieve that?

@Fernando: unfortunately the URL function is not so simple to add as a tweak. Maybe build a new plugin would be easier.

I’d recommend publishing a custom RSS url from the source blog and build a shortcode handler to fetch data from the RSS and displays the content on your page.
