Hi Vince,

the 'more' link generated by IIP is your link text, so you have to address a.more in your CSS.

I use to place my includes in some divs so I can address .included-page a.more {...} in my CSS.

If something doesn't work I suggest you to look into the HTML generated by both WP and IIP to catch what's wrong.

I now have my includes working perfectly, but I'm having difficulty applying css to the text assigned to more I have .moretext {color: #0066FF; font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;} in my style sheet. Here's the code I'm using;

I can apply .moretext to other elements of my page, but the style is being ignored on my includes... Are my single and double quotes messed up perhaps? Any suggestions? Thanks again.

Hi Vince,

the default shortcode syntax [include-page id="page_id"] displays the title and the excerpt with the 'more' link.

Note: you must use the WP tag inside your page content or IIP will display the full content.

There is no way to display a linked title in the current version, unless you edit lines 139-141 to include it in the output code.

Thank you for your efforts in improving this plugin. I’m in need of some guidance and I’m a mere beginner with coding in PHP, so please bare that in mind.

I would like to use your plugin to show a “Linkable” title, and just an excerpt (like the first 10 lines) of the content using shortcode API using a page ID. Could you or anyone post an example or lead me in the right direction?
